Amy Nostbakken is an award-winning playwright, performer and composer. She is co-artistic director of Quote Unquote Collective in Toronto.

Amy has been a part of numerous Ad Infinitum projects including The Big Smoke, Ballad of The Burning Star and Bucket List. Amy directed, co-wrote, composed and performs the multi-award winning Mouthpiece which premiered in Toronto 2015 followed by a national tour across Canada, a showing in LA hosted by Jodie Foster and a run at the Edinburgh Fringe where it picked up multiple awards. Mouthpiece was published by Coach House Press and Oberon UK, it is touring internationally and was recently adapted into a feature film directed by Patricia Rozema.

Currently Amy is also developing Quote Unquote’s six woman rock opera Now You See Her set to premiere in October 2019. Amy teaches theatre for both adults and young people. She lives in Toronto.
